A Brand New Day

Looking Forward

Today is New Years Eve of another tough year. A lot has happened this year. It's hard to focus on the good with all the memories of staying indoors and loved ones getting sick. Life is hills and valleys. Try to remember the good moments that dotted your year as well. I'm going to list mine so I can look back on them and remember.

I moved to a new state.

Quit my job.

Bought a house.

Became a full time author.

Adopted a kitty.

All with my wonderful partner.

A Burning Ritual

I've wanted to do this for a long time. Each winter solstice I'd prepare only to forget or become overwhelmed with hosting. This year, even though its a bit late, I'll be completing a burning ritual for the new year. It can be used for a few things. You can release what you no longer need, manifest what you desire and more.

There are a few ways to do it. This time I wrote a short and to the point letter of what I wanted to release and what I wanted to manifest. Then for safe location on my favorite rock in the yard I lit it on fire and dropped it into my burn bucket. I thought of the weight dropping from my shoulders. I thought of my pain and stiffness easing away. I thought of abundance and success coming to my family, friends and myself. After burning the whole note(and insuring it was no longer a fire hazard), I released the ashes to the wind.

Books; I've been busy, I swear.

I missed my deadlines for this year. My goal was to publish The Witch of Fire and Shadows and Fallen Divinity this year and it just isn't going to happen. Moving took a lot out of me.

But!

  • The Witch of Fire and Shadows will be released in February. The date will be announced in next weeks blog post. YAY!

  • Fallen Divinity will be released in spring of 2022. It will be the second and last book in the Descent into Hell Series and is in the end of edits. I may eventually do companion novels but I feel like Aradia and Asmodeus' story is done.

  • I am more than 50% done with the first draft of the Burning Bloodlines Book Two. This will be a four part series. All of the books are being planned and make me do a happy dance.

  • I have a few first-drafts written and ready for editing. They will be the first books of some new series I'm planning. There's a bit of horror, Sci-Fi and some Nordic lore. I can't help myself.

  • I've been working on two new book ideas, also new series. I know, I can't help myself. Details are a secret for now.

Everything's coming together. I can't wait to share my stories with you.

Stay safe!
